Rose and Crown Pub Walk - Feckenham (51/2Miles)

Enjoy breathtakingly beautiful views, a donkey sanctuary, historical points of interest, a pint in a family run pub and the Midlands best known outdoor retailer all in one day!

Starting from our car park, walk toward the centre of the village, passing the Rose and Crown pub and take a right in between the village car park and a small new housing estate.

Pass alongside the playing fields and bear right into the main square then left down Mill lane.

Pass the old water mill and head over the footbridge into woodland.

Aim straight on up the clear footpath and into the grounds of Berrowhill Farm. Here you will see a waymarker pointing left onto Berrow Hill Lane.

Take a left onto the road and after ½ a mile turn right over a stile and head up Berrow Hill. Soak up the views as you enjoy the contents of your Thermos flask.

At the footpath junction take a right and follow the crest of the hill and climb a stile into more woodland.

Descend through the woodland for 200 yards and at the path’s junction turn right and you will reach Berrow Hill Lane.

Turn left and walk for 500 yards, then turn right up a clearly marked track on the right hand side of Moat Farm.

Cross over several stiles and at another junction of paths turn right. After about ½ a mile you should reach Lower Berrow Farm where you turn right between the farm buildings. Walk down the drive then bear right onto Cruisehill Lane.

Walk the road for about 450 yards until you turn right again up a driveway and down a track called Burial Lane.

Travel down this path for about a mile until it begins to arc slightly right, here look for a stile to the left and turn.

After 275 yards turn right down a clear footpath and after about 550 yards (keep an eye out for biting Donkeys in the Donkey sanctuary) you should find yourself back on the pavement in Feckenham with Barretts to your left or a rather tempting offer of a cold beer at the Rose and Crown pub
